GAH! I loved Ethan and Tori. Sometimes you read a book that fills your heart and puts a smile on your face. Reckless was that romance for me!

From the moment they meet, the attraction between Ethan and Tori is off the charts. Their first encounter is nothing short of hilarious. Ethan is on edge, Tori feels obligated to do something for her sister, so it’s no surprise they’re like oil and water. Or are they?!?! Dun, dun, dun…

Tori is so full of sass and life, I absolutely adored her. She’s been burned in the past and although she’s on a “man diet,” there’s no denying how attractive she finds the sexy, tattooed single Dad. Tori feels like a failure with so many aspects of her life, but one thing she’s determined to do is not let a man get in the way of turning her life around. She’s protecting her heart at all costs.

Ethan was a breath of fresh air. He’s honest, trustworthy and adores his kids in a way that will make your knees buckle and your heart explode! This hot rancher is the definition of swoonworthy. Holy hell he set my panties on fire and warmed my heart. Some of his alpha, dirty talking ways started to creep through that sweet man exterior as we get to know him and it’s a sight to behold! The image in my head is fantastic, one I’ll always cherish 😊

It doesn’t take Ethan and Tori long to fall into a routine to realize how much they complement each other. However, their journey is not going to be easy, but then again nothing good in life ever is. There are real, honest emotions here coupled with some seriously hot sexy times. I suggest you take this trip with Ethan and Tori, you’ll be grinning from ear to ear!

Flinch at the punches, laugh out loud, cry like a baby, simmer with anger until you get downright stabby, swoon deliciously, sigh so hard your ovaries threaten to explode and clutch your chest as though your heart is threatening to burst...these are the feels this book evokes, and you will LOVE every minute of it!

Lex Martin's story of Ethan and Tori is a dynamic tug of war on the heartstrings, where verbal barbs, witty banter and love affirming tenderness all take the stage.
I rejoiced at the fact these two clashed like Titans at the beginning. This pairing almost needed to have an uneasy start or it would not have been believable or worthy of either of them.

I loved how Tori's sharp edges and wild passion gets softened and caressed by seeing Ethan's strength and devotion to his kids, unveiling the fragility beneath this feisty Latino goddess.
And likewise, how Ethan's gruff HAF beast gets soothed by her beauty and tenderness, revealing a swoon worthy alpha hero.

My heart was full to bursting with Tori's interactions with Ethan's kids. It's hard to provide care, nurture and heal little hearts that struggle to make sense of separation and this in itself was beautifully written.
In contrast, I was coming up with ways to physically maim Ethan's ex whilst reading this story, and similarly was plotting a painful removal of Tori's ex's genitalia! So much is the emotion this story grinds out of you!

But tear you apart as this story does it mends you equally as lovingly. Such a great read, 5 glorious stars!!

She finds a place where she belongs. Tori finds a bond with two sweet children, and something pretty epic with Ethan. She finds growth and heals her soul in the arms of a man she never saw coming, and can’t picture without.

Ethan Carter is just trying to raise his kids the best way he can, run his ranch, and try not to loose his mind with the divorce from his wife, who is more interested in causing him headaches, then spending time with their children. Ethan knows he’s running himself thin, and finding some help with the kids is the smart thing to do. With his younger brother, Logan, taking matters into his own hands, Ethan suddenly finds himself with a live in nanny. He wasn’t prepared for the feisty, beautiful knockout, with a sassy attitude and princess hair. Tori has come into his life, took charge and is making him feel all kinds of things. Things he shouldn’t be feeling, thoughts he shouldn’t be having for his nanny. But she handles his kids with a gentle heart, keeps his home running, and her cooking is magic. The need to be closer to Tori, the energy burning between them, is just waiting to explode.

Reckless, draws you in, and leaves you craving so much more. I could not get enough of Tori, Ethan, and everyone in this amazing story. The writing is flawless. Humor, sexiness, grab your attention from page one, kind of characters. You get hot Texas nights, second chances, strong loving families. Ethan the sexy, big hearted cowboy. And Tori, who is one fiery strong woman. (I wanna be like Tori when I grow up) They embrace the ups and downs of their lives, and they learn to take the risks and not be scared of second chances.

My review can not do this book justice. Trust me, just go now and get this book, and fall in love with this funny, so damn sexy, beautiful story.

Lex Martin I am fangirling over you and these characters, and can only hope for more! Perhaps a funny, charming younger Carter brother?
